ASTRORIAN OCS

Sheridan is one of the few Lirg trokai in existence on Astroria, and one of the unfortunate ones to have been uncovered by an explorer. They have a pact with Daron that she will not reveal them to other people, and in exchange has Sheridan’s permission to scour and salvage from the decrepit labs that they’d otherwise defend by any measures. As a trokaz, they have been alive for multiple generations, and understandably want to prevent people from bringing back the technology that put them in this circumstance.

Siras is a prosthetic assembler who lives in Xeol. She has prosthetic arms of his own, but also assembles the parts that Tachyon creates and helps install them on people who need them. He lost her arms in an extreme fight when Tachyon, Daron, and herself were explorers. Siras originally had very basic prosthetics before he decided to learn how to design and assemble them himself. She visits the caverns of Decord with Tachyon every few years, and has made good friends with Steina.

Steina is one of the younger vorkim in the caverns, but they have still been alive for quite a long time. They were born just as body modification was going out of practice. Her primary occupation is as a clothes designer - they design and stitch custom clothing, particularly for other vorkim. She enjoys visiting Windrip and seeing what outsiders are wearing lately, to get inspiration for her own clothing. They met Siras when she was visiting to see the enbrem veins, and the two of them got along very well. She's very sociable and likes to talk to fellow vorkim as well as visitors to the caverns.

Sapphire is a lookout on a fishing ship in the islands. They met Verdandi while they were out working one day, and made good friends with them during the trip. Sapphire also helps their shipmates with selling the fish when they return to shore, as they are very amicable and react to everyone with a gentle friendliness that most people appreciate. They enjoy spending time with Verdandi, and usually have lunch together.

Tachyon is a mechanic and prosthetic designer who lives in Xeol. They have prosthetics of their own, but they mostly make the parts of them to be used and assembled by other people. They designed their visor with the help of Siras, a childhood friend of theirs. They also trusted him to install it for them, as it’s connected to their occipital lobe. They visit the caverns of Decord with Siras every few years. They have not become very well acquainted with and of the vorkim locals, but they do greatly enjoy talking to them and learning about the enbrem and the methods they use to extract the material. They prefer to buy the enbrem they use directly from the vorkim every couple of years, and like taking a couple weeks off to visit and restock.

Verdandi is a finned draconic Iserkal. They originally grew up on Kruwyth with their father, but now lives on the island of Essebel and works as a fisher with Sapphire. The two of them first met out on a fishing trip, and have stayed close ever since. She is much more energetic and forward than Sapphire, and usually leaves socialization to them.

Daron grew up in the Cepene Desert of Southern Irera. Most of her early life was spent helping her family and talking to travellers and traders, which is when she originally started getting curious about the world outside of her town. She eventually moved to Pieteden and stayed there for a few years before deciding to take a ship and move to Acias. She currently lives on Acias, and spends the majority of her time exploring the Nepone forest. She goes exploring in the abandoned labs around the forest, and brings her findings to Sheridan to make sure it's okay with them to carry the technology on to Siras and Tachyon.

Ammar is a very long-lived vorkim, who has been alive since the technological days of Astroria. It has gone out and explored a considerable part of northern Irera, and still remembers when body modification was widespread and popular. He is an enbrem extractor, so his primary job is to remove enbrem from the natural veins in the caverns. It does minor metalworking, usually for some personal items and sometimes blank casts. It met Tachyon and Siras when the two of them visited the caverns when they were first learning how to make prosthetics. He enjoys the company of Steina.
